GSD - Get Shit Done

Life can get hella hectic at times. We can have a whirl wind of ideas, tasks, and other BS on our minds when life gets stressful. With the GSD (get shit done) method, you can find a focused path amongst the chaos. I don't like long winded introductions, so let's get into it!
Step 1: Stop and Breathe!
When life gets stressful we can sometimes panic, bug out, and loose clarity. By simply stopping, assessing your situation, and breathing, you can calm your body and nervous system down. Remember that whatever stressors are attacking you up in your mind are not going to kill you in the present moment. You're in your head, so chill and breathe.
Step 2: Brain DUMP!
Drop it like a dump truck. Get everything that is in your head onto paper, whiteboard, phone notes, I don't care. As long as you are dumping every thought, tasks, and idea out of your head and into the physical world, the less strain you will have on you cognitive abilities. No matter what it is, write it down and get it out.
Step 3: Prioritize and Organize
Look at everything you wrote down and decipher what are tasks that you need to complete. From there prioritize the tasks by importance. The more important the task, the sooner it gets bumped up in your schedule to complete. Don't stress if you can't jam them all into one day! Give yourself some grace and act according.
Step 4: Schedule and GSD
This is where the rubber meets the road! Now that we have our tasks down and prioritized, we can move onto scheduling. You can go a number of ways with scheduling tasks. There's the old school method of using a daily planner. Or you can go the modern route and use an AI scheduling software. If you choose the old school method I suggest purchasing a planner from Clever Fox on Amazon. They are very well organized and easy to use. For the modern route I like usemotion.com, It's an AI assistant software that will help schedule tasks and organize your schedule for you. Kind of like your own personal assistant.
The key here is to take those important tasks and start completing them! Don't overwhelm yourself. Be realistic and think of how long each task will take to complete. Then schedule them accordingly.
There it is my friend, a straight forward path to getting organized, not overwhelmed, and being about to relax again. Anytime you feel like your head is going to explode, refer to the GSD method and get organized. Your quality of life will dramatically improve once you can think clearly and have a plan of action ahead.
